This is why The Difference Site and The Society for the Study of Difference have come to being: The Difference Site aims at a comprehensive understanding, study and expansive treatment of difference itself in addition to those issues that surround it; The Society for the Study of Difference offers active contribution to the study of difference.

In particular, The Difference Site is aimed at providing you with the opportunity to discuss and write on various difference-related issues and topics, inclusive of difference itself; simply put, The Difference Site offers you the opportunity to figure difference out.

It is important to stress that it is your contribution and ideas on the issues surrounding difference that can make all the difference. And why would you like to make this difference? Because it seems that difference is in peril ... or simply in the need. 

For this reason you may be willing to be more active and therefore join The Society for the Study of Difference which regularly holds conferences on the notion of difference. And for the same reason, you may also consider to donate some funds to relief organisations so as to make a material difference. At the same time, The Difference Site is aimed at providing access to various difference-related resources, namely, some idications as to how to study difference for those of you who are new to notions of difference, an archive of difference-related texts where you are welcome to log additions, and finally a link with difference-thinkers and members of The Society for the Study of Difference, useful sites and societies.
